Plasmage
Do you have heavy eyelids, crow's feet or wrinkles on your upper lip, but you refuse to have surgery? Then plasmage may be for you.
Plasmage is a so-called non-invasive treatment. Instead of operating, Plasmage uses light energy that evaporates the top layer of skin so that the skin tissue contracts.
How does the treatment take place?
We apply anesthetic cream on the area to be treated one hour before start-up.
The handpiece we use creates plasma light that resembles a spark. The light, or spark, is passed from the tip of the handpiece to the skin - which then evaporates by micromillimeters. The treatment itself takes about 30 minutes. After treatment, you can almost immediately see that the skin has tightened up. You will see small brown dots in the treated area, which becomes a scab on the skin.
After treatment
After the treatment, lie down to cool the treated area for 10-15 minutes. We then apply fucidin - an antibacterial ointment - where the skin is treated. After 2 days, lubricate the area with white Vaseline until the small crusts fall off takes normally 4-7 days. During this period it is important not to "pick" on the crusts!
For the first few days, swelling in the treated area is normal.
It is important to use high factor with UVA and UVB protection for 3 months the next 3 months. Products with a high factor, both in powder form and cream, can be purchased in our clinic.
The effect of plasmage can be up to 2 years. Recommended treatment 1-2 treatments at 3 month intervals
